Become a sponsor of the 'Jenkins: The Definitive Guide' book!

We are actively seeking sponsors for the 'Jenkins: The Definitive Guide' book. Sponsoring work on the 'Jenkins: The Definitive Guide' book is a great way to gain exposure with thought leaders, technical leads and developers in the Software Development community.

Hudson/Jenkins installations since 2008

As a 'Jenkins: The Definitive Guide' book sponsor, you can be part of a project to deliver top-quality documentation to the tens of thousands of Jenkins users. Jenkins is the CI server with by far the fastest-growing adoption rate, with around 2000 new installations each month. According to several polls, is already used by two thirds of CI practitioners (see here and here). The initial chapter drafts of the Jenkins book have had over 10,000 unique downloads since it was made available in the first half of 2010.

The 'Jenkins: The Definitive Guide' book is an ongoing project. All royalties from the printed edition of 'Jenkins: The Definitive Guide' will go to maintaining and updating the online version of the book, and Wakaleo Consulting is committed to continuing work on the book. Our goal is to finish the first version by the end of 2010, and then to provide regular updates as new versions of Jenkins and new plugins are released.

Technical writing is a long, time-consuming process, but with your help, we can get quality documentation out to the community faster. We propose three levels of sponsorship: Platinum, Gold and Silver. All sponsorships give you exposure on the book web page and in the PDF edition. And with Platinum and Gold sponsorships, you can even vote on chapters in order to get the chapters that you are interested in out faster! All sponsorship plans are on an annual basis. An outline of each sponsorship level is presented here:
